NORMAL INTENSIVE LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Grammar class

The Normal Intensive Language Program includes three hours daily of Grammar instruction. These classes range from one to a maximum of five students, allowing for individual attention as well as group reinforcement. Next, students participate in 1.5 hours of Guided Conversation and 1.5 hours of either Situational Spanish or Cultural Conferences, depending on their level in the language. The Situational Spanish is a series of courses designed to introduce students to the Spanish necessary for everyday situations. Cultural Conferences cover a broad range of topics pertaining to the Mexican culture, including; politics, literature, Indian cultures, and many more. All levels of students participate in Language Workshops which analyze the more detailed aspects of the Mexican language and culture.

* Advanced students, who have finished the four book series of “Método de Espańol Cuauhnáhuac,” analyze the application of grammar while identifying and correcting particular problems. Reading, discussions and elaborations of essays are integrated into the classes.
